The inspiration: The magic of Venice
Venice is a city that enchants. The narrow alleys, the glittering canals and the beautiful architecture create a unique atmosphere that I wanted to translate into a collection. During one of my visits to the city, I noticed an elegant fence with an elegant pattern that radiated the perfect balance between classic and modern. This formed the basis for the signature design of the Venice Collection: a subtle pattern that exudes elegance and refinement, just like the city itself.
From idea to design: The drawing board
With this inspiration in mind I started working on the designs. Luggage should not only be beautiful, but also practical and user-friendly. I thought about the best organization for travelers and how to combine lightweight but sturdy materials. Every detail, from the handle to the zippers, was carefully considered. I added extra features such as a weighing handle to check the weight, waterproof pockets, and a clever divider system for an organized suitcase . The matching shoulder bag was given padded laptop compartments, a pen holder, cup holders, and a strap to securely attach the bag to the suitcase. In this way, the Venice Collection is both stylish and functional.
Communication with the supplier
Once the first designs were finished, I shared my vision with the supplier. This is a crucial phase where ideas are translated into technical specifications. Materials, dimensions, colour scheme and of course the unique pattern that distinguishes the Venice Collection were all discussed. Finding the right balance between aesthetics and functionality was key.
Samples, tests and adjustments
The first samples arrived and were tested extensively. Nothing was left to chance. During this phase I made adjustments to make the luxury travel set even better. Compartment divisions were optimized, materials improved and details refined until the end result was perfect.
Production: The Venice Collection becomes reality
After multiple tests and fine-tuning, the moment had arrived: production could begin. The Venice Collection became a reality, ready to travel with adventurous and stylish travelers around the world. With this collection, the elegance of Venice is translated into a luxury travel set that is not only practical, but also truly stylish.
