How to set the TSA lock
Step 1
Open the lock: if the lock is not already open, set the dials to the default combination.
The default combination is set to 0-0-0.
Step 2
Locate reset button: look for a small reset button on the side of the lock. This button is
typically used to change the combination.
Step 3
Press and hold the reset button: use a pen or another pointed object to press and hold
the reset button. The reset button is small, so you may need to use a pen or similar
tool.
Step 4
Set your new combination: while holding the reset button, choose a new three digit
combination by turning the dials to your desired numbers. Make sure to choose a
combination that is easy for you to remember.
Step 5
Release the reset button: after setting your new combination, release the reset button.
You may hear a click, indicating that the new combination has been saved.
Step 6
Test the new combination: close the lock and scramble the dials. Then, enter your
new combination to ensure it opens properly.
Step 7
Keep the combination secure: memorize your new combination or keep it in a secure
place. Avoid sharing the combination unless necessary.
Step 8
Use and Travel: your TSA 007 lock is now set with your chosen combination. Use it to
secure your luggage when traveling. TSA agents can open it if needed for inspection
without damaging the lock.
